This document sets describes the terms between you and us under which you may access our website www.ridekicks.com (our site). The use of our site means that you abide by all of the policies in this acceptable use policy, which supplement our terms of website uses.
www.ridekicks.com is operated by Ridekicks Limited, we are a registered company in England and Wales under the company number 07031494 and our registered office is at 63 Fentiman Road,London, SW8 1LH.
Prohibited uses
We expect all of our users to use our site lawfully, you may not use our site:

- In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or anything that has an unlawful or fraudulent effect.

We provide a number of interactive services for our users, including but not limited to, notice boards, internal messaging, user and ride profiles and feedback / review facilities.
We will do our best to asses any possible risk for our users, and in particular for children. However we are under no obligation to monitor, oversee or moderate such features and interactive services, and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of any of our interactive or other services, by a user in contravention of our content standards, whether moderated or not.
The use of any of our services by a minor is subject to the consent of a parent or a guardian.
Content Standards
Our Content standards apply to any and all material that you contribute to our site (contributions), and to any interactive activities associated with it. You must comply with the spirit of these standards as well as the letter. The standards apply to each part of any contribution as well as it's whole.

- Promote violence.
- Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability sexual orientation or age.
- Infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person.
- Be likely deceive any person or persons.
- Be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as contractual duty or duty of confidence.
- Promote illegal activity.
- Be threatening, abuse or invader another person's privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
- Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person.
- Be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.
- Give the impression that they emanate from us, if this is not the case
- Advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by the way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse.
Suspension and termination
We will determine whether there has been a breach of this acceptable use policy through the use of our site, if such breaches of the policy occurs we will take whichever action we deem appropriate. Failure to comply with the this acceptable use policy is a material breach of our terms upon which you are permitted to use the site and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:
- Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our site.
- Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to our site.
- Issue of a warning to you.
- Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis.
- Further legal action against you.
- Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities.
We exclude liability for any action that is taken in response to a breach of this policy. We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, whether outlined in this policy or not.
Takedown policy
If you believe there is content on our site for which you have not given permission, please contact us in writing stating the following:
- Your contact details.
- The full bibliographic details of the material.
- The exact and full url where you found the material.
- Proof that you are the rights holder and a statement that, under penalty of perjury, you are the rights holder or are an authorised representative.
Upon receipt of notification the 'Notice and Takedown' procedure is then invoked as follows:
- We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint by email or letter and will make an initial assessment of the validity and plausibility of the complaint.
- Upon receipt of a valid complaint the material will be temporarily removed from Ridekicks pending an agreed solution.
- We will contact the contributor who deposited the material, if relevant. The contributor will be notified that the material is subject to a complaint, under what allegations, and will be encouraged to assuage the complaints concerned.
- The complainant and the contributor will be encouraged to resolve the issue swiftly and amicably and to the satisfaction of both parties, with the following possible outcomes:
- The material is replaced on the site unchanged.
- The material is replaced on the site with changes.
- The material is permanently removed from the site.
- If the contributor and the complainant are unable to agree a solution, the material will be removed from the site until a resolution can be reached.
Changes to the acceptable use policy
Any changes we make to our privacy policy will be updated and posted on this page and where appropriate communicated to you by email.
