www.ridekicks.com is operated by Ridekicks Limited, we are a registered company in England and Wales under the company number 07031494 and our registered office is at 63 Fentiman Road,London, SW8 1LH.

Accessing our site

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, we reserve the right to withdraw or amend our services without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable for any period of time. You must not disclose any passwords or other pieces of information used for security procedures to any third party, and you must treat this information as confidential. We have the right to suspend, cancel or terminate any part of our service that we provide to you should our opinion be that you have failed to comply with these terms of use.

Our Site is a Venue:

Our Services do not include the introduction of users to one another. Our Site is merely a venue for users to learn about one another and, if they wish, arrange rides with one another. We are not involved in the actual physical contact between users. As a result, we have no control over the conduct of our users or the truth or accuracy of the information that users post on the Site.

Identity Verification:

Because user verification on the Internet is difficult, we cannot and do not confirm each user's purported identity. Although we provide tools intended to assist you, you are responsible for determining the identity and suitability of others with whom you may ride with by means of this Site. We do not endorse any persons who use or register for our site. We do not investigate any user's reputation, conduct, morality, criminal background, or verify the information such user may submit to our site. We encourage you to communicate directly with potential rides through the tools available on the site.

Your experience with other users:

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users of our site. We will not be responsible for any damage or harm resulting from your interactions with other users of our Services. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor interactions between you and other users of our site and to take any other action in good faith to restrict access to or the availability of any material that we or another user of our Services may consider obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, violent, harassing or otherwise objectionable, for further information please read our acceptable use policy.

Release:

Because our Site is merely a venue, in the event that you have a dispute with one or more users, you release us (and our officers, directors, members, employees, agents and affiliates) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.

We aim to update, and change functionality, service and content on our site regularly, we reserve the right to suspend access or to close our site indefinitely. Any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time. We are under no obligation to update such material.

Cost of using our site

Joining Ridekicks and using our site is free, although you will remain responsible for the costs of accessing our site and communicating with our users. We charge fees for providing you the ability to pay another user for his or her ride. When you use our preferred method of paying for your rides, you have an opportunity to review and accept the fees that you will be charged.

Peer to peer reviews

Users that have used our preferred payment method are given you the opportunity to perform a peer to peer review of their fellow Ridekick. In this way your user profile accrues value as to the reliability and safety as a Ridekick. We may change our fees at any time. We may also choose to temporarily change our fees for our site for promotional events, and such changes are effective when we announce the temporary promotional event on the Site.

Fees

Ridekicks charges a transaction fee of 5% on the moneys transacted via our Site, a further fee of 3.4% is charged by Paypal if you are paying into a Paypal account with a debit or credit card. There is also a transaction fee if any currency conversion is needed. Any use of our site must also comply with PayPal's acceptable use policy.

Whether you are a business or not, value added tax and other taxes may apply to your transaction.

Uploading material to our site

By using our site you are agreeing to comply with our acceptable use policy, this policy outlines the content standards you must adhere to when using our site. You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards and you indemnify us for any breach of that warrenty.

Any material that you upload to our site will be considered to be non- confidential and non- proprietary and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose. We also reserve the right to disclose your identity to any third part that is claiming that any content you have submitted, uploaded or hosted on our site is in breach of their intellectual property, rights or right to privacy.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

The English courts will have [non]-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to a visit to our site. We retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.
