Our payment process

If you feel its right to charge for your car sharing activities, we thought you should know that we use PayPal to transact money between Ridekicks. It's easy to do and makes it easier for you to car share and charge for it.

We charge a fee of 5% on all transactions. Typically if you pay £10 for a seat, your Ridekick will receive approximately £8.80 after we have deducted our 5% and PayPal have charged their transaction fees. You can find out more about PayPal fees by visiting their website.

You can choose to arrange payment for your car share and handle the money transfers yourself, but we recommend using the Ridekicks payment mechanism for convenience, transparency and safety.
